Chief Security Officer

-- Internet infrastructure services provider VeriSign (verisign.com) announced
on Monday that it had named Ken Silva, an employee since June 2000, as
its first chief security officer.
Silva will be
responsible for establishing security measures across the company, including
security policies and auditing functions.
